Purpose of the study program

The purpose of the Integrated Academic Studies of Medicine study program is to educate and train doctors of medicine to adequately and conscientiously perform tasks that require higher education in the systems of primary, secondary and tertiary health care, but also in regulatory bodies, educational institutions, as well as in research in the field of medicine. By studying this program, students acquire relevant and modern theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of medicine and master various diagnostic and therapeutic professional skills and methods, necessary for their independent professional and practical work in health practice.

The purpose of the study program, Integrated Academic Study of Medicine, is clearly and unambiguously formulated and is in accordance with the main goals and objectives of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Kragujevac, certain general acts of the Faculty, as well as with the goals of higher education, determined by the Law on Higher Education. The aforementioned study program is fully adapted to the needs of modern society and the development of medical science.
